Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the One Last Frame fan tribute site (onelastframe.art) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. This page is maintained by the operators of the Site as an independent fan project.

1. Information You Provide

When you sign the legacy portrait you voluntarily submit: your name (or nickname), city, country, a short message, a favourite film and a hand-drawn signature image. We also generate a public Legacy ID (for example THALAPATHY-XXXXXX) so you can find your entry later. If you contact us, we receive the name, email address and message you send.

2. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting infrastructure and analytics may automatically collect:

  • Approximate geolocation derived from your IP address (used to pre-fill the city / country fields on the sign form).
  • Device and browser information (user agent, screen size, language).
  • Basic traffic logs (referrer, pages visited, time spent).

3. How We Use Information

  • To display your signature publicly on the mosaic portrait and the Wall of Fans.
  • To generate your shareable Legacy Certificate.
  • To operate, secure, monitor and improve the Site.
  • To respond to messages sent through the Contact page.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar storage technologies (such as local storage) for essential functionality and, through third-party providers, for advertising and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings — blocking some may affect how the Site works.

5. Advertising — Google AdSense & Third-Party Vendors

The Site displays advertising provided by Google AdSense and other third-party ad networks. Please note the following:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Users may also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu (EU users).
  • Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology in their respective advertisements and links that appear on the Site and are sent directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. The Site has no access to or control over these cookies used by third-party advertisers.

6. Consent for EEA / UK / California Users

If you visit the Site from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google's EU User Consent Policy applies and a consent prompt for personalised advertising and analytics may be shown. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know, delete and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can exercise these rights via the Contact page.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Retention

Signatures remain on the Site for as long as the tribute operates or until you request removal via the Contact page. Contact-form messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry.

9. Data Sharing

We share information only with:

  • Infrastructure providers who host the Site, database and email delivery (bound by their own privacy commitments).
  • Advertising and analytics partners as described in Section 5.
  • Authorities when required by law, subpoena or valid legal process.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain uses. To exercise these rights (including removing your signature), contact us with your Legacy ID via the Contact page.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International Transfers

The Site and its providers may store and process information in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.

14. Contact
